This is incredibly beautiful. I’m surprised how much I like black and white flower photos since I’m such a big color component.
Comment by laanba April 27, 2008 @ 7:59 pmThanks Laurie - I usually try to shy away from standard flower photos, but I can’t deny their subtlety and inherent poetic nature. Certain flowers have such range of tone to make them perfect candidates for black and white compositions. This one, dangling above a small creek gave a perfect “floating” composition - I just couldn’t help myself!
